State of Our Union Feb 2019

President Trump asked us to give all of our efforts toward the goal of “Greatness.”

Where would you like our elected officials to concentrate their efforts?

Were you pleased with the tone and emphasis of the President’s State of the Union?

Remember, #KeepItClassy : your submission must be written so I can share with our youngest republicans.

Thanks,

Kathy Neiheisel

I wept as President Trump introduced us to the Dachau Concentration Camp survivor who was sitting next to a brave US soldier who had liberated him. I want to thank President Trump for reminding all of us of our past “greatness.”

Great summary of this small portion of the State of the Union.

If you are part of the trump cult, you probably thought this was a great speech.

The rest of the sane population found it full of lies, propaganda, and moronic phrases.

I tend to stand with the sane group!!

Darrell, Do you have a specific issue on which the Executive and Legislative branch need to focus?

    Great SOTU,

Lots of bi-partisan cheers at mention of low unemployment, increased women in the workplace, justice & sentencing reform, & bringing a halt to the endless war cycle. Lots of funny faces from the Speaker. Lots of awkward looks from those who want to abolish ICE, bring back Carter-era tax rates, or run the country based on ‘give-aways’.

Great speech. Very uplifting and positive. Too bad the democrats are so blind by their hate of the President that they put themselves first and the country last.
